Oz is an American television drama series, created by Tom Fontana in 1997.

Oz is the nickname for the Oswald State correctional facility, a fictional maximum security prison.  The story is about inmates lives inside an experimental cell block, called Emerald City. Some of them fight for power and others simply want to survive.
